Sunday Hangs

Top: Wildfox // Pants: J Brand // Shoes: Cole Haan (old but want these) // Hat: BCBG (old but love this one) // Sunglasses: Rayban

Sundays make for the best of days spent with my boys, and although I love Mondays, I wasn't quite ready for the weekend to be over just yet. I love being lazy all day with my two favorite people and this tee (how adorable is the graphic) and jeans are perfect for just that.  Both are extremely soft and so comfortable to hang out in which is so important when hanging out with a newborn (we like to spend our time cuddling). I bought these loafers last year and never really wore them but lately they're my favorite shoe.  They're so easy to slip on and just go while still keeping a polished look. I'm definitely keeping my eye out for another pair, I'm obsessed!

Daily Routine

Daily Routine

It's no secret that I love trying new makeup, which is why over the past 6 months I have tried A LOT of different products.  Some of them I've become addicted to, while others I ended up not even finishing.  Here is what I use from day-to-day.  Some old, some new, but all amazing!

1. Arcona Magic Dry Ice Moisturizer- I never knew the power of moisturizing until recently and this one works wonders! It smells so good and gives my skin a smooth surface that is foundation ready.

**Tip: I like to put it on right after I've washed my face and let it sit while I pick out my outfit for the day.  That way my skin absorbs it before I apply my foundation.

2. Korres Lip Butter- Some days I like to wear lipstick but for the most part I tend to go for a more natural lip. That's why I love this lip stain.  Not only is it the perfect rose color for a day-to-day look but it keeps my lips moisturized and soft.

3. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Bronze- This has been a staple in my makeup bag since I can remember.  It is so versatile and really helps brighten up the face. It is a must-have!

4. Lancome Liquid Artliner- I have tried so many different liners on the market and I always go back to this. It is the best liner on the market, hands down!

5. Nars Blush in Orgasm- This blush gives my skin such a pick-me-up, I love it.  It works well with everyones skin tone and adds the perfect amount of color without being too much.

6. Bobbi Brown Sheer Pressed Powder- I carry this around with me, EVERYWHERE. It helps hold my makeup in place which is so important living in the humidity of south Florida.  It  does a really good job at getting rid of the shine without looking cakey.

7. Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade and Brushes - I use to use eyebrow pencils until i tried this magical combination and I will never use a pencil again! This stuff helps fill in my brows without over doing it by giving them a drawn on look.

**Tip: I'm not a makeup artist but I find that starting in the middle of the brow and working your way out gives your brow a much more natural look since brows are thicker in these areas to begin with.

8. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer- My friend told me about this concealer over a year ago and I have been using it ever since.  The name says it all! However, I'll be honest, lately I have heard so many amazing reviews about Marc by Marc Jacobs concealer and I really want to try it once I use this all up!

9. Bare Minerals Warmth- This is a product that I keep coming back to after venturing off to other lines.  I love the color that this adds to my face opposed to other products. Again, a staple in my makeup bag.

10. Covergirl Eyeshadow- Love the colors in this palette, I have yet to find a bronze and dark brown eyeshadow that compare to these colors.

11. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation- OBSESSED with this foundation.  The consistency is somewhere between a BB Cream and a full-coverage foundation.  It is super light so it's perfect for warm weather but still covers blemishes.

12. Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara- I have tried SO SO SO many different brands of mascara and nothing compares to this one. Not to mention it's only $5 at the drugstore. Total steal!

I would love to hear what your daily makeup routine is or products you love.

Thank you for reading!

Mamabear

On July 21, 2014 I became a mother to our brilliant little boy, Seamus (pronounced Shaymus) McGregor Brothers.  At first, I was terrified.  I had no idea how to be a mother, and the standards were set so high by my own mom.  Slowly I became more comfortable with my role as a mother and even though I've made many mistakes thus far-and have so many more to come, Seamus' unconditional love for me has continued to push me forward.  This has been the most beautiful adventure I've experienced in my life thus far and the little moments I've spent  with our little family are gold to me.  For me to watch a little human grow and learn so much everyday is absolutely fascinating.

Seamus is now 6 weeks old. He is close to 11 lbs (such a chunk) and is 23.5 inches long.  He loves to eat, chew on his fist, play under his Baby Einstein activity gym, and cuddle with anyone and everyone.  He cracks up at his Daddy and loves my kisses. He makes noises like an animal when he plays and has the most adorable baby snores at night.  If I had it my way, he would stay this little forever. But, I can't wait to see what he'll grow into and to go on many adventures with him!

Little Fox

Little Fox

Ugh! Is it just me, or do all of these items make you wish you were a kid again? Sometimes I look at Seamus' (pronounced Shaymus) closet and I get so jealous. Between the Freshly Picked Moccasins, Bobo Choses onesies, and Lucky Boy Sunday dolls, I'm in literal heaven. And how could I forget Stella McCartney's line. That sweatshirt, PERFECTION.

Here are just a few of my favorite things for this Fall.

Note: I have changed my name from Unsound Axiom to Monday Vibes since this post

So Long Summer

Dress: Novella Royale (sold out but love this)// Boots: Bedstu (sold out but love these) // Sunglasses: Dior // Lipstick: Mac 'Red Russian'

With Labor Day weekend comes the end of summer, but living in south Florida, the end of summer does not mean the end of hot weather.  And sometimes, ultra light-weight dresses are the only thing that make this time of year bearable.  Nothing is more comfortable in the heat than a tunic you can just throw on, and this one in particular is amazing! Just look at that pattern! It makes throwing together an outfit so effortless.  All I had to do was add my favorite pair of old boots and a vintage necklace. Did I mention how perfect of a piece this dress is for transitioning into Fall?  I would pair it with some thigh-high socks, leather jacket, and a wool fedora and you're well on your way to a fabulous cold weather outfit. And don't forget to add those rings. My favorite? The mood ring.

Transition Pieces: Leather Jacket: Spell & the Gypsy (I love this Spell & the Gypsy and this Cleobella // Socks: Free People // Hat: Free People
